Costing only $59 for the year, or $4.92 a month, Carbonite is much cheaper than any of the competition. Carbonite boasts a secure service that is easy to use, with automated backups. There service can be used both on a Mac and on a PC and can be used from your iPhone, iPad, Blackberry and Andriod phones.
Outside of unlimited data plan for cheap, Carbonite offers no other services. If you are looking to just backup your computer than Carbonite is for you, but if you would like other services like syncing between computers, versioning of backups, remote access or any of the other features commonly associated with online backup than Carbonite is not for you.

They have an extensive knowledge base, video tutorials, FAQ section and after filling out a emailed form you can contact them via telephone and chat support. They support is well done but often times looking up the question yourself in the FAQ or the knowledge base is quicker.
